Elizabeth was walking on the docks. She wanted to run into a pirate that she knew. There were alot of pirates around, but she didn't see Will or Jack Sparrow. She didn't know if Will was even here in Shipwreck Cove, but she knew Jack Sparrow was. She didn't know if he was here at the docks or if he was somewhere else. She was hoping he would be here.

Jack Sparrow, or rather Captain Jack Sparrow, had once again retrieved his beloved Pearl from that no good mutiner Hector Barbossa and had not long since arrived back at Shipwreck Cove. He didn't particularly like Shipwreck Cove, though it had more to offer to a pirate Captain such as himself than his favorite port Tortuga, this dislike for the place was probably due to the fact that he had spent a not so happy childhood here and his father [whom he did not get on so well with] happened to dwell here. In fact he was only here for one reason and one reason only. This reason had a lot to do with a certain Pirate King/murderess, whom he was sure was waiting obediently on her little island for ten years before her husband would return to her but Jack still held out hope that she would be here.

Jack had just finished a bottle of rum at the local tavern and was on the way back to his ship [he was reluctant to leave it unaccompanied after how easily it had been stolen not so long ago], when he saw her. Her blonde hair, lightened by exposure to the sun, caught up in the wind as she stood by the docks looking at the many ships assembled there.

Unsure that he had in fact seen her, Jack had to take another look. Once he was sure what he had seen was actually her a small smile crept onto his face. After a moment or two's hesitation Jack made his way over to where she was stood.

"Captain Swann" He said in his coarse accented voice as he reached her, "Or is it Turner now?" he added with a slight frown at the thought which was quickly covered by a smile.

Elizabeth turned around and smiled at Captain Sparrow.
"Ah, hello, Captain Sparrow," she said with a smile. "It is still Swann. Will and I have yet to be married." Her smile faded. "I have been seperated from Will and I have not seen him for so long. I was hoping you might have seen him? I was hoping to find him here in Shipwreck."
That was why she had come back to Shipwreck. She didn't really care much for the town. She would rather be someplace else, but she would go anywhere to find Will.

Jack watched Elizabeth carefully and as he listened to her a confused look spread over his face. "Will?" He asked a little disbelievingly. "You've been looking for the whelp?" Jack's gaze stayed fixed on Elizabeth.

After a moment he moved closer to her and put an arm around her in a friendly manner, "Darling, I regret to inform you that you Mr Turner is fulfilling his duties as Captain of the Flying Dutchman. Or had you forgotten?" He asked.

She hadn't realized that he was still on board that ship. She thought he might be back. She grew happier.
"Oh," she said. "Any idea when he shall be back?"

By now Jack was actually quite concerned over Elizabeth's sanity. Surely she knew that her husband had become captain of the Dutchman, yet she didn't seem bothered. Perhaps she had spent too long on that island all alone and had lost her sanity due to it.

With a frown Jack answered her question, "Another nine years, I think, love. Surely you remember?"

She had known that, but she supposed time on the island made her forget. Jack was looking at her with concern. She supposed he thought she must have lost her sanity.
"Being on the island made me forget," she said. "Thank you for telling me, Captain Sparrow."

Jack continued to watch her, concern still evident on his face. As she explained that she had forgotten a small smile crept back onto his face.

"You're welcome, love." He smiled at her, his dark eyes fixed on hers.

"So how have you been? I haven't seen you for a while."

"I've been fine," she said. "What about you?"
She looked around at the dock and the boats there and decided that she really didn't want to be there.
"You want to go for a walk? Maybe go someplace else?"

"Not too bad love, not too bad." Jack replied with a smile.

His eyes followed her gaze as she seemingly looked around the docks and at her question he nodded, "Aye, nothing much to see here." He took another glance around before continuing, "Anywhere in mind?"

"Why don't we go to the city?" She asked.
Without waiting for an answer, she walked down the docks.
